A Winner and a Loser

Today we discussed nursery ideas. It seem being the Dad doesn't mean I get to make all the decisions. Rufus will be taking over my now office directly across from our bedroom. Kimi loves Hippos, and has a huge collection of them acquired throughout the years so we have decided on a Jungle theme for Rufus's room.


Well, It does have a hippo in the design at least. You would be surprised what an under utilized animal figure the hippo is in children's rooms. I know finding a nursery theme that uses it brightens up her day. She's been stressed the last few week thinking about baby, working, family, and our future. I hope the redecorating will help ease her worries. I also get to do a little woodworking and remodeling myself which I love. So this week I will begin slowly packing up the computer room and taking it to the dungeon. I still have a laptop to make my entries with and it won't be a huge loss for me. I hope Rufus knows the effort, sacrifice, and thought we put into the "arrival". Every day a hundred decisions are made. Plans are put into motion to ensure Rufus's arrival into this world will be a happy one. and work begins on our aventure of a lifetime. Thats all for now I'm off to look for some glider rockers for the mother to be and maybe a big decorative tree to put in the corner and give the place a little greenery. Perhaps with some lights in it? To spure Rufus into some MENSA like ability or Stephen Hawking revelations about the universe....
